So, between those preparations and my ongoing kitchen renovation, I haven’t kept up with my blogging. But here I go, back on what I hope will be at least a monthly schedule. Possibly more frequent as publication approaches.
Meanwhile, here are some renovation pictures. After a rocky start where one company abandoned us (and our substantial deposit) we got lucky with another, much smaller company, who have been working diligently since late May. There were brief slowdowns and interruptions related to countertop production and availability of trades, and some cabinetry pieces didn’t pass their inspection and will be replaced, but there are always a few glitches when renovating. I’m going to be very happy with the finished product. For now, as you can see, it’s still a work-in-progress:
